When is the best time to sell property in Bulgaria?
The honest answer is anytime.
This may sound strange but it is very true, there are a great many reasons why and when people buy property in Bulgaria but price and location continue to be the two main drivers behind the purchase.
While it is fully understandable that people believe that the Summer is the only time to sell properties on the Black Sea Coast and that Winter is the only time to sell properties in Ski resorts it is simply not true.
We regularly sell properties in Pamporovo and Bankso during the summer months and we regularly sell properties all along the Black Sea Coast during the winter months.
Our first sale on the Black Sea Coast for 2014 was January 6th and our most recent sale in Bansko was April 4th. (This article was written on April 7th)
While it is true that there is huge increase in the numbers of people who visit the Ski resorts in the Winter just as it is true that there is a huge increase in the number of people who visit the Black Sea during the Summer. What we need to do is to make the distinction between Tourists and Property investors.
When the number of Tourists increase so do the number of properties that are rented which in turn means that any potential purchaser now has a reduced number of properties available to them to visit.
In many cases this prevents them from making an offer because they are fully aware of how many properties are for sale and they want to be sure that they choose the best property possible.
In these cases we schedule an inspection trip for them during the off peak season when they will have access to every property.
This is why we sell as many properties during the off season and we do during the peak season.
