There are three main factors that are likely to see significant increases in prices in Pamporovo:
1. The Perelik project the Bulgarian government will be investing hundreds of millions of Euros into a huge expansion of the ski runs and infrastructure of Pamporovo. A massive new ski area will be linked to the centre of Pamporovo by gondolas.
2. Low cost flights Nearby Plovdiv Airport may soon receive low cost carriers This will open up Pamporovo to an even wider market and make access even easier. The resort is just over an hour from the airport.
3. Motorway to Greece. The EU is funding a new motorway that will connect Pamporovo to the Greek Aegean coast. Once it is complete you will be able to get to the beach in under 1.5 hrs.
